Check out this diagram by trojankitten that illustrates the screen size of a 7.85-inch iPad mini compared to other popular tablets.

Notably, a 7.85-inch iPad's screen size would be 40% larger than the current 7-inch tablets such as the Kindle Fire.

If you crunch the numbers, that makes the mini 82% of the iPad 2 in price, for only 67% of the screen size. In other words you're paying more for less. Here's the comparison to the Google tablet: Nexus 7 is 73% of the mini in size, for only 60% of the price. So again you're paying more for less with the mini. I'm gonna go out on limb here and say that people who buy the mini ain't gonna be buyin it for the price. I guess no one ever bought an Apple product for the price, though.

Won't fit in my pocket like my Galaxy tab 7.0Plus, but I don't care. I hate the Galaxy tab. Software sucks, it keeps rebooting and shutting down. Button placement sucks as I always accidently hit the power or volume buttons. Once I get my iPad mini, I swear I'm going to throw my galaxy tab on the flow soooo hard!
