I keep seeing the reports of the iPad mini coming out this year, but why would Apple release an iPad (even if it's a smaller one) separately from the original? It only makes sense that Apple would release an iPad mini at the same time as original. I guess they could be trying to get it out the door in time for the holiday season and then the 2nd gen iPad mini could be pushed back to release the same time as the regular iPad.
