Even without the innovation Apple has the marketing genius that no one can catch up to. Every year they sell more iPhones than the last and they barely change anything making them more and more money every year for giving us what we deserved the first time around.

I still dont trust these images. I will just wait the official announcement from Apple. Same as last year, lots of rumors but nobody expected the 4S instead. I dont like the long screen though.

That's because people expected a product worth purchasing. 4S=How the iPhone4 should have been in the first place. All first gen apple products released are to see how the market reacts and the device that follows is the real one.

Just jailbreak 3it - now you have widgets. Want a bigger battery on a smaller phone? Physics disagrees with you. Buy a battery case or turn the screen down.

I don't really like this screen. It looks very stretched. It's an odd sort of shape. I hope this was just a prototype and the final product looks more appealing. Otherwise I'm happy to stick with my 4S :)

Will this new 4" screen give the iPhone a true 16:9 format?

You're kidding right? Take a look at the Galaxy S3 which already has quite a few fans & dwarfs the iPhone 5 screen. Get your head out of the sand.

Try using the SGS3 with one hand. It's impossible. If you say it is, you clearly haven't tried the phone and/or are lying.

Yeah, the "use phone with 1 hand" feature was something Steve wouldn't sway from. Many people agreed until, as it turns out, people actually liked the bigger screen & didn't really care about using it with 1 hand after all. As a result, even bigger screens are coming (4.8").

I v owned every carnation of iphone, but for fcuk sakes, 2 years the designers have taken to do something a year 3 couldve done in 10 mins on photoshop. Go for a completely radical new design to tempt me and others away from our 4s's! Why oh why just stretch it to make it longer. Im not buying a £600 phone just for a 8mp camera. I was swindled into trading for a 4s because apple made out siri was the next big thing when all it is is a gimmicky funked up voice dialling that i had on my nokia 3310

Are you sure you own a iPhone? Because Voice Dialing were availabe since "ever" on the iphone. Before SIRI, iPhone still had Voice Control... And Apple doesn't make radical changes when they find the design that they like. See the Macbook, iPad, iPod Touch examples... they improve the design and all the flaws. Apart from that... I agree that a "longer screen" doesn't look right too me. It only looks right to avoid fragmentation...

I think the iPhone 4 and the 4S are are the nicest cellphone design to this date. Metal and glass are very nice compared to cheap plastic on Android phones. That being said i do enjoy the screen size of my Galaxy Nexus more than the size of the current iPhones. Also the resale of the Android phones are pathetic, yet a 2 year old iPhone is worth twice as much as a 2 year old Android model. Heck a 2 year old Android phone probably run the latest OS. Apple really made you buy the 4s Huh they sent Apple geniuses to your house and forced you?
