Apple has updated iOS 6 with a new App Store search results layout taken from Chomp.
When searching you're now shown the first result on a card that contains the app name, icon, rating, and a single screenshot. You then have to swipe to see subsequent results one by one. While the new design looks nice its usability is severely limiting. It's hard to believe that users will prefer to swipe through search results one by one.
Apple has also turned on Genius Recommendations, Purchased List, and Podcast Search for iOS 6 beta users.

I don't get that screen I get a list with two tabs above, the first tab is iPad apps the second is iPhone apps. I'm using the latest IOS 6 beta, on a 4th generation iPod touch. Anyone have the same thing?

This is like when Cydia updated their search. The only thing it gave us is slowness and a pain in the ass to use.

Not great. Poor design and I have to swipe one by one? Ugh
