A lineup has already formed for the new iPhone 5 at the flagship Fifth Ave Apple Store, reports Fortune.
Yesterday they were seven people lined up, each for business purposes. Today there appears to be ten people notes AppleInsider.
The first two in line are Hazem Sayed, 54, and his marketing manager Sage, 31, who started the line on Thursday at 8 a.m. -- eight days early -- to promote their social media startup called Vibe.
Jessica Mellow, 27, and Keenen Thompson, 22, are third and fourth in line. Mellow is blogging about her experience this week at iphonewhatever.com. Keenen is the assistant to a Conde Nast fashion writer. Their wait is being sponsored by Gazell who is providing food, drink, camp chairs, sleeping bags, Gazelle-branded t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, wrist bands, and, in case of rain, a tent.

LOL I know. I mean I Love Apple also, BUT..to wait in line..lol why didn't they just pre-order the Phone like the SMART ONES..LOL..its not like anyone's gonna care if you ordered it or bought it from the Apple Store. I mean talk about dedication to one product BUT; i'm glad our Apple Store is in a Mall & that you CAN'T do the same here..lmao.

Most of them want to resell for profit!
You can already see ads in Craigslist asking 150-180 for staying in line
The biggest problem in Canada is that the launch day apple won't sell unlocked iphone 5
Only with contract, they figure out that this way make more money
I am sure there will be some idiots would be surprise after waiting for hours
Apple website says unlocked iPhone only by preorder

They are not early, they are actually late. They were late to preorder the iPhone 5 on Friday so they had no choice to camp out side Apple now, lol...Gotta love NY! I wish them good luck aside from good weather.

I stayed in line for iPhone 4 and i get two but after 5 days i returned them because of antenna issue what a waste of time it was for me staying in line for 14 hours and then embarrassing feel of returning them
