Apple has started shipping out its Lightning to 30-pin dock connector adapters, reports MacRumors.
Apple has just begun notifying the first wave of customers who ordered the company's new Lightning to 30-pin Adapter that their orders are now shipping. MacRumors has received word from several readers located in Australia that their orders are now in transit, with one reader's shipping notification indicating that his shipment is due to be delivered on October 9.
The adapter shows only an October availability estimate in the online store. Have you receive a shipping notification for your order?
I received mine today and I am pissed. If you have a case of any sort on your phone the adapter will not make contact, requiring you to remove the case in order to use the adapter. If you have an expensive sound system with the 30 pin dock, and you don't mind removing the case from your phone every time you need to use it, then this adapter is for you. If not, save your money till they start making 19 pin docks.
I think that all of us that purchased an iPhone should get together and fight for a free adapter. It's not fair . We all should have recieved a free one with purchase. I have a Bose sounddock wich is useless for my iPhone ( I use It for pandora religiously) my in dash car radio also no good . It's not fair and apple should do something about it .
