Teehan+Lax has released their GUI PSD for the iPhone 5 and iOS 6.
This version, iOS 6 for iPhone 5, is a bit different than previous version. Those of you who have downloaded and used these files have probably noticed they've become quite bloated. As fast as our computers are today, they still get pretty sluggish when working in a document that contains tens of millions of pixels with hundreds of shape layers. This time around we focussed on making the file a bit more usable. It's smaller in file size and has a reduced canvas making it quite a bit more manageable. We did this by removing some of the more obtuse elements. If you think we've missed something common, let us know in the comments, or on Twitter.
Meanwhile, they've added 'features' like "Liking" with Facebook, and GPS tagging, while the displays pictured don't show a single image of the editing environment. Let's face it, they're now moving away from photo editing and towards yet another filter app for Instragram & Facebook photos! (I haven't tried it yet, but I'm a bit afraid to see just how badly they've screwed the pooch with this latest revision).
Nick - this isn't an app... Is a PSD file that you can use on your computer to mockup designs... The reduced canvas and simplified elements are an amazing thing. The fact these guys make this for every iOS version and release it for free is insane! The new version loads much faster and is much more usable on my MBP and also windows editing workstation, overall an amazing change.
Again, this is not an app, and has nothing todo with photo editing on the phone...
