FUCK APPLE I AIN'T GETTING THIS BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T PUT RETINA. THEY ALWAYS DO THIS AND PUT ONE LESS FEATURE SO THE NEXT YEAR THEY HAVE A FEATURE TO PUT INTO THAT PRODUCT.

You seriously expect retina on an iPad mini and for it to cost 329??

wait about 6 months or so, they will release Mini with Retina display at same price. Then this one will be $249. But this one is perfect size for the people who likes to read books.

It has a scren density of 162ppi, which means it's not that far from "Retina" quality either. I'm more "upset" that the new iMac doesn't have a higher resolution than it does, so hopefully next year or whenever. The higher black levels will make a huge difference, just like they do with iPhone 5 (vs. 4/4S).

No retina display is a HUGE MISTAKE !! Sorry Apple but at 329$ its too expensive for what we got !!

If they had made it using a "retina display", existing apps would either have to be stretched or letter boxed. Either way, not a good solution. Besides, 162ppi is pretty damn good. Why don't you wait until you see one before you start complaining.

Hold one in your hands. It is still better to read on than some other devices out there. The pixel density is great.
