The new 12 Watt USB Power Adapter delivers a few more watts for your iPad. The goal is to reduce charging times slightly over the 10 Watt version. It works with all iPads, iPhones, and iPods. $19.

As much as I like Apple products, I agree with most viewers here that Apple is the most greedy company on this planet. Consumers will revolt and boycott someday. I am talking about those Apple diehards.

Using my 10w charger on my iPhones and it works pretty good, does charge faster. $19 isn't much either if u want something to work faster

so it will increase the available wattage to my devices but only the ipad can benefit.... This video neatly demonstrated that my iphone cannot accept more than 5 watts to charge from. It leaves me wondering what is the maximum wattage the ipad can accept? Anyone?

Ok, so the charge time for ipad 3 is reduced from 24 hours to 23h 30min, no thanks, another extortion of money from Apple.

Yeah most likely, my iPhone 4 is charged MUCH faster when I use a iPad charger instead of a iPhone charger.
Not sure if its bad for the battery but I have been doing it for almost a year and haven't noticed any difference in battery life.
