Samsung has just posted a new ad for the Galaxy Note II that bashes the iPhone and BlackBerry as inferior for business.

The Company gets a little help from the Galaxy Note II with SAFE technology in making Unicorn Apocalypse come to life. Play Hard. Work Safe. The Next Big Thing for Business is Here.

Specifically, the ad mocks a woman who has a 'system' where she sues a BlackBerry at work and an iPhone at home.

point is now you all are talking about samsung, bashing it as a brand and device, which means apple has a serious competition... apple is chasing samsung with "iphone math" or phablet space.. ipad mini and others will follow... where is the innovation fanboys?

anuj - January 26, 2013 at 5:19pm

Just FYI... i have used (still using many) every apple phone came to market including macair, macpro, apple mouse and other peripherals... The only thing i believe in is to move with better technology and not stick to a brand just because it was great one time... Are you still using "walkman" from Sony? The answer is no... So, just move on and look at any device with an open mind... At the end of the day, they are produced for our use and the best value we can get out of them... Large screen - what a shame - 3.5 to 4 and now rumors of 4.8 inches, ipad mini? New features - you just don't want to get it... do you? But again this is my perspective and I don't want to lay out on everyone Dude... tk cr.. enjoy your apple...

I assume that Oleg who talked to David is fluent in english, thus it is impossible to use Russian GUI on Samsung Galaxy S3 sold in the USA. Or you can buy international version without LTE with russian support. Same with Chineese, Italian .... With my iphone I can have Russian GUI with LTE. SGS3, can we do it?! (Bob the builder) : No we can't!!! P.S. There is no official language in the USA, just legislative one, english.

"Safe" but with viruses

The Romio - January 21, 2013 at 2:02pm

Every phone that Samsung comes up with gets compared with the latest iPhone. It's a dream for Samsung.

The Romio - January 21, 2013 at 2:08pm

Another comment to add: this ad is nothing but a representation of this company's strategy: "Do it like the iPhone." We don't know but they might have "Do it like BB strategy" as well.

even Microsoft is more secure than Android, wait ´til we get our hands on the new Ubuntu, Android will have serious competition

Devon - January 21, 2013 at 1:44pm

That's right.

Devon - January 21, 2013 at 1:14pm

Lol. This comment made me laugh. The S3 is nothing but junk. It's made out of cheap plastic and it's running a very insecure and fragmented OS.

icla - January 21, 2013 at 11:24am

this is where samsung excels at: mud slinging. if you trust your product(s), you let it speak for itself.

Devon - January 21, 2013 at 1:45pm

Exactly. Great products don't need to be advertised with mud-slinging like marketing.

j0kerOS - January 21, 2013 at 7:55am

SAFE? With android running? You gotta be kidding me...

Devon - January 21, 2013 at 8:40am

Anything that runs Android in general is far from secure.

Screw Samsung and Apple fight. Just stop the fight between these two companies!

Camfella - January 21, 2013 at 1:48am

@John So why is Samsung trying to convince people that their phone is better for business than the others? Are they not confident? Aren't they wasting their time?

m_thoroughbred - January 21, 2013 at 2:57am

Read my post again cause that's what I said.

Arex - January 21, 2013 at 1:29am

Galaxy S 1, 2, or 3 is about as Walmart as it gets. Feels like play schools my first smart phone. Junk!

iDood - January 21, 2013 at 1:38am

Couldn't agree more :)

johannes - January 21, 2013 at 2:18am

tzvifiller - January 21, 2013 at 12:29am

I wouldn't learn anything from that ad

Ken - January 21, 2013 at 12:26am

Is this the same line of phones where Samsung was advertising people taking a photo of someone and turning it into some sort of meme and making some guy "popular"? Yes, great phone for serious business.

Nitro Junkie - January 21, 2013 at 1:31am

And don't forget the commercial about sending dirty videos to your husband after your kids just gave you a video to watch. What a quality and upstanding commercial.

Chris plachta - January 21, 2013 at 12:18am

Funny, looks like Samsung is scared of the competition. They wouldn't bother bashing another company if it wasn't a threat.

MrHerculePoirot - January 21, 2013 at 12:18am

I really hate Samsung. They rely on other companies products to advertise their products.

SayComo? - January 21, 2013 at 12:52am

Just like Apple relies on Samsung and other companies to make their products... then goes out suing them. Samsung doesn't even compare to what Apple does.

m_thoroughbred - January 21, 2013 at 1:23am

Makes components for apple as well as other companies. But what people fail to understand is that all Samsung is to apple is an assmbly line. Samsung does not make the specs or programming for Apple's hardware. All they do is assemble and make the hardware according to the specs that Apple and other tech companies provide. They do not do any programming. All of Apple's programming and architecture is done with in Apple Inc. And to put it in a better perspective Samsung needs Apple and vice versa. I think both companies make great devices. I just think that if you're confident that your device is better and more productive you would wouldn't waste your time convincing people other wise. That's just my take on things. And I my friend am a proud Galaxy SIII owner.
