Apple Has Revealed an Updated Apple TV 3 Device

Apple has introduced a new Apple TV 3 device with the release of iOS 6.1 (5.2) for the ATV.

The device called AppleTV3,2 runs the same firmware build (10B144b) as the AppleTV3,1.

iH8Sn0w commented on the new build saying:

New Apple TV3,2 is powering a s5l8947x with a board config of "j33iap". Looks like a minor update of the Apple TV 3. I Wonder why though...

It's unclear if Apple has already begun selling this device in stores or if it will be released shortly.

If its not going to be jailbroekn. No1 is going to buy it. I dont need an Apple to run netflix or hulu I have PS3 and 2 XBOX modified..If I want to do that. I want a Jajilbroken Apple TV3 to get free Shiit

I like the iCloud feature myself. Bluetooth isn't & issue for me since I use the supplied remote.

It was updated to solve the severe buffering issue.

Where did you get the information about the new version being updated to fix the buffering issue? I have an AT3 and it suffers from this problem and I would like to be able to return it for the new version if it can't be fixed with firmware/software only. A hardware bug is unacceptable.
