Twelve South has launched their BookBook case for the Retina Display MacBook Pro.

Designed exclusively for MacBook Air and MacBook Pro with Retina display, BookBook is a totally unique case for the thinnest of MacBooks. Weighing as little as 13.5 ounces with an ultra-thin profile, this handmade, genuine leather case offers heavy duty protection. Two hardback covers, reinforced corners and a cushioned spine offer solid impact protection. The inside of the case is lined with a velvety soft, chocolate brown, padded interior for added protection.

Actually, as an author, having a book-book cover is a great sales tool, since it's a clever idea that starts up natural conversations about my books. There are plenty of covers out there if you don't like it, but don't curse out someone who likes something you don't.

I'm a bit confused why someone needs to disguise their laptop as a book no one makes any more. Next they'll be making Desktop book-book covers. (Truth in advertising: I LOVE my book-book iPhone cover!)
