The device features a 4.1-inch touchscreen, with WVGA resolution, measuring 9.9mm thick. It includes HSDPA internet, plus HSUPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, as well as GPS and DivX support.
Toshiba has outfitted the TG01 with a 1Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, and it runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 with some new Toshiba designed interfaces.
Reportedly the smartphone will be able to answer and hang up phone calls when shaken and will utilize a microSD card slot for media storage.
More information is likely to be revealed formally at Mobile World Congress in mid-February.
