Along with the update to the iPhone, Apple has posted iPod touch Firmware 1.1.2 today. Some people are reporting that it is available through iTunes;however, if its not there yet you can download it from here:
It is expected that this firmware release will include "Add Event" functionality to the iPod's calendar. Something that had been missing from prior firmware releases.
