Facebook today announced that it is launching verified Pages and Profiles for its high-profile users.
Today we're launching verified Pages to help people find the authentic accounts of celebrities and other high-profile people and businesses on Facebook. Verified Pages have a small, blue check mark beside their name on timelines, in search results, and elsewhere on Facebook.
Verified Pages belong to a small group of prominent public figures (celebrities, journalists, government officials, popular brands and businesses) with large audiences. This update is rolling out to profiles as well.
You can see an example verified page below. Facebook says it will proactively verify authentic Pages and profiles.

Facebook just needs to die. Honestly, they've dicked around with it way too much since it came out. Anyone else agree?

Facebook also needs to remove their app center and sugested pages because its very annoying with them both like the sugested apps and pages, plus i don't like them.
