Chatology Brings a New Way to Search For Messages

Chatology, a new App for Mac OS X, brings an alternative way to search for your messages.

The current Messages app for Mac is filled with bugs. Messages are out of order, search does not always work properly, and the app nearly becomes unusable if your message library is large.

To fix these problems, Flexibits decided to create Chatology, a new standalone app for Mac that helps you navigate your current message library with ease. Chatology is not a way to send messages -- you will still need to use the current messages app to send and receive your IMs. What Chatology basically does is import all your message files that are saved on your hard drive so that you can easily search and view them.

Chatology is also integrated with messages. If you choose to enable this option, pressing Command-F in Messages app brings up the Chatology search instead of the Messages one.

If you use Messages or iChat, you probably know that searching messages to find important info from past chats can be frustrating. Perhaps you couldn't find what you were looking for, or your Mac slowed down so much that you gave up.

Chatology makes it easy to:

●Find your messages instantly
●Focus on a specified date range
●Quickly isolate images or links from your messages

Chatology helps you find exactly what you're looking for without frustration.

Chatology is available for $19.99 on the Flexibits website. There is a 14 day free trial available as well.
