Apple released firmware updates today for the AirPods Pro 3 and AirPods Pro 2. The new firmware version is 8B30 for the AirPods Pro 3, up from the 8B25 build released last month. The AirPods Pro 2 have been updated to version 8B28, up from 8B21.
Apple has not provided detailed release notes for this update, listing only "bug fixes and other improvements." However, it is likely the software includes support for features arriving in iOS 26.2. Recent betas of that operating system enabled AirPods Live Translation for users in the European Union, a feature previously restricted in the region.
