An internal beta of Microsoft Messenger for Mac 8 has been leaked, according to MacMagazine. The application is still very preliminary and extremely unstable.
"It freezes well. In 10 minutes of testing, it crashed (I have to 'Force Quit') at least about four times, "said their source. Also the application does not save any settings yet.
The interface adds a new icon for call and video; however this beta only works with Windows Live Messenger 9 for PC. Also added are dock notifications which have been missing from previous version of Messenger for Mac.

ABSOLUTELY! It's frustrating that I have to use Adium. It's a nice IM client, I love its flexibility, but it would be great if I could use the better-integrated iChat. And I'd really love VIDEO chat on my MacBook Pro!

It's from Microsoft, it's primary design is to crash and be unstable. Does this surprise anyone. I'll be sticking to Adium thank you.
