Samsung is reportedly set to unveil its Galaxy Gear Smartwatch and a new Galaxy Note III at an UNPACKED Episode 2 event on September 4th, according to SamMobile.
Speculation has been rife that Samsung might introduce their first smartwatch along with the Galaxy Note III at the UNPACKED Episode 2 event on September 4th, and now we can confirm that Samsung will indeed unveil the Galaxy Gear smartwatch on the same day it takes the wraps off its third-generation Note, the specs of which we confirmed earlier. The Galaxy Gear (SM-V700) will act as a companion accessory for Samsung’s Galaxy phones, and while no one knows what it will look like (though patent filings gave us a pretty good idea), it might possibly have a flexibly display.
While Apple is widely expected to unveil a smartwatch, it appears as though Samsung may beat Apple to it.
euuuh im sorry but you havent heard about the IM watch ? lol ... it's been out from a year out... in anyways its neither apple or samsung they are both innovators, and the software will always be user friendly why the hate? open your mind and bless your incomes!
Apple did not invent the "smart watch". They haven't even introduced one yet let alone produced one that is on the market to even be copied. It is funny to see how many people ignore existing products and sci-fi history in an effort to give all credit to apple.
If the patents apple had of making one never existed. Then Samsung would never think of making one. Samsung has to compete against apple with every single thing.
You mistake receiving a patent as inventing. They are not the same thing. And you are one of those who also ignore previous manufactured items. The smartwatch has existed. Anything Apple or Samsung releases to the market is a mere adaptation which may or may not include innovative features.
