iPhone 5s orders have gone live in Australia but unfortunately there is a 7-10 day ship time.
As you can see in the screenshot below, the lengthy ship time is present for all three colors of the iPhone 5s.
Rumors have indicated that supply of the iPhone 5s is 'grotesquely' low. It appears that those rumors are accurate.

Yeah.. and don't you just love how we have to pay more for it!?!.. A lot of people are pissed off that Apple put a premium on it in Australia. Even without our GST applied and at current exchange rates, Australia will pay approx. $90 more for the new iPhone than in USA...
