The Apple Online Store is completely sold out of all iPhone 5s models until October.
When iPhone 5s orders first launched, the shipping time was 1-3 days. Starting with the gold version, the ship time slipped to 7-10 days. Now just the vague 'October' ship time is indicated for all colors, sizes, and carriers.
If you are looking to obtain an iPhone earlier than sometime in October, you may want to try retail stores before they all sell out as well.
