BlackBerry Begins Selling Unlocked Z10 and Q10 Smartphones Direct to U.S. Customers

Following the announcement that T-Mobile U.S.A. would stop stocking BlackBerry smartphones in-store, the company has begun selling its unlocked BlackBerry Z10 and Q10 smartphones direct to U.S. customers via its online store.

The BlackBerry Z10 smartphone costs $449 unlocked and the BlackBerry Q10 smartphone costs $549 unlocked.


Last week, BlackBerry announced that it received a buyout offer from Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited and signed a letter of intent agreement to an acquisition for $9/share ($4.7 billion).
