The BoyGeniusReport has posted a hands-on video walkthrough of the Palm Pre.

So, check it. There's something called the Palm Pre. We linked up with our friendly Palm rep, and he gave us a walkthrough of some of the brand new third party applications. Things like Pandora, Sprint TV, Palm's Classic OS emulator, and Flight View all got shown off on Palm's sexy Pre hardware. We also got a brief hardware walkthrough too, just for you guys.

very ugly device. Hopefully, for Palm's sake, this is an April fools joke.

ok... i decided to watch this because i've read many reviews on this device online. I think it doesn't even being to compare with what Apple has been doing, specially with the new iPhone OS 3.0 (which I have installed on my iPhone). Good bye Palm, keep trying though. Who knows?

As do I have 3.0 on my iPhone....exactly what are all the functionalities the iPhone has on this pre? I fail to see it. The ONLY thing the iPhones had in the PAST on devices like this is interface elegance/functionality..... That is now at least neutralized. Then there is multitasking, camera etc and numerous other functions 3.0 still CAN'T do....so what in the hell are so talking about ?!
