The Apple Store has been down for over an hour on a Sunday which is uncharacteristic for the company.

We are unsure whether this is just maintenance, product updates, or perhaps the rumored price drops.

My guess would be that it has something to do with them trying to catalog their apps into age groups or w/e. That's supposed to be on the new iPhone OS so there isn't any reason for there to be a visual change just yet. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't need to shut down the whole store for that, but who knows...
