Futuremark tests show that Safari 4.0 is the fastest browser in Javascript performance followed by Chrome 2.0 Beta, Chrome 1.0, Safari 3.2, Opera 10, Firefox 3.5b4, Opera 9.6, Firefox 3.0, IE 8, then last IE 7.
Here at Futuremark, we like measuring and comparing things so our Peacekeeper service is designed to measure a browsers JavaScript performance. This is important because many modern dynamic websites make extensive use of JavaScript to provide navigation, forms and other features. Changing browsers to one with a high Peacekeeper score could make these sites faster and more responsive.

While Safari is fast to surf, I have concerns about its security. I am hesitant to use it for banking or shopping. Is this browser more susceptible to exploits compared to others?
