Amazon Releases Kindle 1.1 for iPhone

Amazon has released Kindle 1.1, an update to their iPhone application that allows owners to read Kindle books.

What's New In This Version
- Read in portrait or landscape mode
- Select alternate background and text colors to improve reading comfort in low light conditions
- Tap on either side of the screen or flick to turn pages
- Pinch to zoom images in books

The application is free and available now from the App Store.

Well, that is only if you live in the U.S., right? Otherwise you can't buy book for Kindle. Very disapointing!
