The New York Times recently compared the iPhone 5s to the Galaxy S5 and determined that it beat the Galaxy S5 by 'just about every major measure you'll care about'.
How does the Galaxy S5 compare to the iPhone 5S, Apple’s six-month-old flagship device and the champion to beat? The answer: Not very well. I’ve been using the new Samsung for about three weeks, and while I do think it is the best Android phone you can buy, it sure isn’t the best phone on the market. By just about every major measure you’ll care about, from speed to design to ease of use to the quality of its apps, Samsung’s phone ranks behind the iPhone, sometimes far behind. If you’re looking for the best phone on the market right now, I’d recommend going with the iPhone 5S.

Everything apple and Samsung are fighting over, Nokia 1520 already has: Last February I bought this mobile and I was immediately impressed both by its size, but especially by the quality both hardware and software. It has 32 GB of expandable memory up to 128GB (although nokia recommended max. 64GB ) , 2GB of RAM, but above all the fantastic camera of 20 megapixel Zeiss pure view that really takes incredible beautiful pictures. I tried in all kind of light conditions and I must say that the photos are absolutely sharp, bright and with beautiful vivid colors . Above all, I was amazed by pictures taken with flash in low light , the autofocus does a wonderful job and the pictures are without any noise. Another highlight is the battery, even with tough days made of whatsapp , sms , wifi , calls, continuous listening to the nokia mix radio and a few games (fifa 14 the most used), the phone still comes to evening with 30-35% . With a quieter but use with wifi always on I arrived at 3 days almost 4, No need for hassle with cables, just pop your device on a wireless charger, and it immediately starts charging.. For those who are afraid of its size or weight , I can tell that the phone is so well balanced that seems less heavy than many phones that weigh a 30 gr. less . Finally I have to say that surfing internet or watch a video on you tube is absolutely a unique experience than what they offer mobile phones with smaller screen. When you have tried it you will see other phones like something very small and uncomfortable . In the last days I've updated the mobile to windows phone 8.1 and I have to say that the software has reached a great maturity and those who still complain than Android or IOS are still the, maybe they should try a go with windowphone software
Also the majority of tech analysis websites will say that the S5 blows the 5s away, plus screw New York Times for technology reviews, they were probably paid by apple to say this, its amazing to see when one place that says the iphone is better out of the majority that say the S5 is better, all the iphone relgious worshippers go crazy and say that its true, look around and do research, the majority say Samsung is better, the lowest rating ive seen for the S5 both phones end up in a tie.....
Did anyone notice that instead of samsung just copying apple on nearly every level that the S5 somewhat actually looks like a generic copy of itself (meaning that the bezel is very thick, the home button is quite small for the size of the phone and color enamel under the glass around it and the band aid back tops off the generic feel - over all the S5 just seems like a generic S4 with a few new bells and whistles). Can anyone really disagree here?

Hey just to let you guys in on this, I work for New York Times Magazine, And Apple gave us an iphone 5s to all Editors, and Executive as a gift for us to publish this article, plus they paid NY Times their fees for publishing it. What's the idea behind all this no clue. You see I have a Samsung myself, but I had to say That I didn't have any, cause if not they weren't going to give me one. Look I don't care what cellular I have anyways, I was giving the Samsung s5 as a gift. I will keep my Samsung S5 and give this iphone 5s to my 5 years old Daughter for her to play with. iphone 5 is very nice, but too small for me to read things, see I'm only keeping the Samsung cause it's a`lot easy to read my emails, and browse the internet. So guys sorry for this news. Hey I haven't said anything. I'm sure You guys have seen this kind of publicity before.
And since when do we believe someone who admits they worked for nyt. I'm adult and can clearly read iPhone retina or not, I can even read right off a nano, but how on ear is your daughter going to handle the phone that easily?

Exactly ken, let's say the s20 was the size of a door, how does it feel to have the next big ass thing that doesn't fit in a pocket, how about traveling, sure would want that, and the cost is $10000.
It is impossible for iphone5S to beat Galaxy S5. According to me, Galaxy S5 is much better than iphone5S in almost all major specs whether I consider water resistant body, large display, and 2800mAh battery or in accessories a wireless charging based flip case. I even purchased a wireless charger with receiver for my week old Galaxy S5 from Amazon http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DDTZN4S with price much less then the official one.
You mean the wannabe of the 5s, how can iPhone possibly lose to that after it copied iPhones features? For me the battery is perfect, the display is about the same as galaxies but stretched out a little, why tap both phones and walk all the way around to share photos when I can just airdrop without disturbing another when getting ready, and the stuff I can airplay to, it's a better version of youtube, plus I own an NFC case for iPhone which gives me more battery, so I don't care if iPhone now comes with it, what really made it an ultimate game changer was all the apps I can find using popular near me along with 64 but apps. My vacations are 2x as better anytime now thanks to think useful gadget ever.
Lolwut- They copied iPhone 5s that's why it can't beat it. Is that why the s4 beat iphone 5 in every aspect in performance and speed and display explain that. Samsung is smart they waiting for the iphone 6 so that the s6 can beat it again.
