I updates to 8.2, what to do if i have windows so i can use QuickPwn

I've already updated to 8.2.

just keep us updated, bc i prob am going to want to either upgrade to the new phone, and/or sell my 3g online so i might have to unlock it still.

PS. Palm Pre future users should not upgrade also

Now you tell me! I've already updated to 8.2. I used pwnage to take my 2g/8gig iphone to 2.2.1. i waited for OS X 10.5.7 because i'm on a unibody macbook, and didn't want the DFU headaches. Is it even possible to downgrade to iTunes 8.1? How do I do that? thanks jkp

Since when was it a good idea to install ANY UPDATE the day its offered. Quit being such a jackass. I mean... even users who don't pirate, or pwn, or crack or hack know better than this- regardless. WTF were you thinking?

...such a jackass... thanks for your kind observations. not all of us are iphone or os x experts or rocket scientists. frankly, it did not occur to me that this would cause any problem. i always download new updates. fortunately, ZuZ has kindly provided a downgrade solution. and i'll take my lumps. chrs jkp

well... good to see my *slap* was received well. Truly meant to get your attn. rather than start any fights. Way to snap out of it. and... um... while that is how to get it all off your system... remember thats from in terminal, you know? Assuming folks know their way around the terminal presupposes they won't make mistakes. Be careful. and cheers, once again, for not snapping back at me.

though feeling stupid for doing the 8.2 update without thinking, I'm also breathing a sigh of relief. I've read the dev-team's blog and see that there's actually no major harm in having updated to 8.2; my iphone will still sync just fine. the only problem would be if i wanted to unlock/jailbreak again, which for me is hardly likely. to reiterate, according to dev-team, if your iphone is already pwnaged or quickpwned to 2.2.1, it'll sync okay with itunes 8.2. just don't try to use pwnage or quickpwn with 8.2. chrs jkp
