Apple is Relying on Samsung for 62% of 9.7-Inch iPad Displays [Report]

Apple is relying on Samsung for 62% of its 9.7-inch iPad displays, according to a DisplaySearch report.

Samsung is once again the top iPad display panel supplier shipping 5.2 million units of the 2048x1536 9.7-inch panel. LG Display saw its share of that display drop to 38% in the first quarter from around 61% in the fourth quarter of 2013.


It's also said that Samsung could be a supplier of the A8 and future Apple processors despite TSMC coming on as a manufacturer.

Example a7 chip was completely apple but only Samsung puts fabric on them because the chip is apple, no other logos to fool us with and that's quality for ya.
