iOS 8 Asks Users Whether Apps Can Continue to Use Location Data

A new prompt in iOS 8 asks users whether an app can continue to use location data in the background, notes MacRumors.

The prompt reads like this:

"App Store" Has Been Using Your Location in the Background. Do You Want to Continue Allowing This?"


You can then choose "Don't Allow" or "Continue".

Presumably, this prompt would only apply to applications that check your location when not in the foreground.

sounds to me that it's more like the App Store will offer location base Apps which the App Store already have a near me section so probably this will let you turn it off.
