Unboxing images of the new iPhone 3G S show the new Voice Control and Compass App. The images are featured in an Engadget gallery.
Poor lighting likely makes the trim look gold trim; however, this is usually caused by incorrectly set white balance on the photographers camera or a reflection. (as suggested by commenter Rob).
Take a look at the pics below or hit the link for the full gallery.
Please analize the photos -- and then report - Why fule rumors?
You left out 10 other pictures that clearly show the phone is Not Gold!! I do not understand why even make nonsense posts ? Gold Trim - Please. Thanks to folks like you theres a lot of fake rumors . . out ..
I believe primarily to get away with smaller packaging, less cost of materials to make the dock and i'm assuming very few even used the dock. Plus why ship a dock free when they can charge for it at the Apple store. I know I rarely used the dock when I had the 2G iPhone so I don't think it's any real loss. Plus for the price they offer the iPhones now it's a pretty sweet deal.
LOL!! R u serious?! It's not only the light it's the background that is brown so it looks like that, Look at the last pic you can see that it has a normal chrome look to it. Geessee, people, you've seen the phone live when they announced it, there is no gold trim!!!
Aw for crying out loud! This is NOT a "gold trimmed" iPhone. It's a chrome trimmed iPhone shot with a screwed up White-Balance. Learn to handle your camera! And for God's sake, don't post your failed pictures here, claiming it's something we should waste time on!
logicet, you can be sure apple will come after this article. I've tried to check the source website and it appears that it is no more. Last thing apple wants is for people to make negative comments on the new iphone a week before the official launch.
