Jailbird, a utility for iPhone jailbreaking and custom IPSW creation, is nearing completion. No word yet on whether the beta will be available by the 3.0 release; however, the developers state the release is "just around the corner."

Lmao! This is Ridiculous bullshit! He selected the iPhone 3G and then selected 3GS firmware! Plus the iPhone 3Gs is not able to be jailbroken by conventional Pwnage methods. It's is only jailbroken by the 0x24000 overwrite exploit from the hybrid team.

who is the dev. tho. Can they be trusted...? Anyone tried this? IS this just for older versions or what models of phone? Many questions....

This looks like the Pwnage Tool repainted with a slightly different UI. The only improvement that I could request is a more automatic/foolproof DFU mode that does not require holding buttons and releasing them on the count. Otherwise I'll stick with the Dev Team version.

Umm, the iPhone Dev-Team does not have a version of PwnageTool for Windows. Hence the need for this tool
