The Swell Radio app has been shut down after Apple reportedly acquired the company for $30 million.

A message on the company's website indicates that the service is no longer available but does not confirm the acquisition by Apple.

Re/code reported that Apple was close to purchasing the company a couple days ago; however, we're still waiting for official confirmation.

WSJ reporter says Apple is "confirmed" the acquisition with its usual statement.
