The Razzam - October 29, 2014 at 5:55pm
This should have been passed around to inside jailbreak teams / Cydia programmers. IMHO not a public ready release. :(
Seth - October 29, 2014 at 5:37pm
A jailbreak without cydia? .... What's the point?
noeljr42 - October 26, 2014 at 6:00pm

8to6mac - October 25, 2014 at 7:47pm
Do you have to restore if you restore and when you want to get rid of the jailbreak (eg software update)
8to6mac - October 25, 2014 at 7:48pm
Do you have to restore if you want to jailbreak*

how do I change it to English?
A Cool Guy
A Cool Guy - October 23, 2014 at 2:11pm
You can't yet they haven't released a english version yet this is for developers. They still need to add cydia and some other stuff for a full working untethered jailbreak.
Crrafty - October 23, 2014 at 3:07pm
The English instructions are in the article you are commenting on...
cosmo - October 23, 2014 at 10:29am

Jewish Man
Jewish Man - October 23, 2014 at 9:36am
And if you are so concerned with security why on earth would you jailbreak. I'm sure a few of those free apps have eyes and ears... So if u plan on doing any kind of transactions involving money DO NOT JB

Boys boys take a Valium it's only a lousy cell phone My God all of you act as if this is the most important event in your pitiful lives. How about paying more attention to the opposite sex instead of your nasty cell phone compulsions.

YehRight - October 23, 2014 at 3:50am
Yeah right!! 3GS is version 5.1. Go away!
Mike Adams
Mike Adams - October 23, 2014 at 5:04am
But I heard there are some software technique you can use in 3GS and make apple pay enabled. Google it and see
urherenow - October 23, 2014 at 5:54am
Apple pay requires NFC. It's hardware, not just software. So yea... you guys are on crack.
Angela Reyons
Angela Reyons - October 23, 2014 at 6:51am
Looks like 3GS has hidden NFC module inside. I don't know if its true. Just heard about it

OMG, just googled it and got the solution. Installed thinking that its fake. And you know what, after installation "voooooooiiiiiiiillllllaaaaaa" it works. And just to test that I have done my first purchase in App Store. Oooooo lalala. Why do I have to buy i6 just for apple pay ? My 3GS is super star.
iOSjuggalo - October 23, 2014 at 12:08am
I've been waiting to update my iPhone 5S, I still must wait until Mac OS tool is released. Although iOS 8 has a lot of cool features, it still doesn't allow me the tweek of extra rows of icons & folder within folders. The race is on - hopefully stable JB is out before Apple patches....

If I'm running version 7.0.4 on an iPhone 5s, how can I jailbreak my device?
TechnoGeek - October 22, 2014 at 11:15pm
Do a search on iclarified and you'll find the version for your phone?
Hiccup - October 23, 2014 at 6:22am
use evasion 7 jailbreak ios 7.0.x
bigbatica - October 22, 2014 at 9:45pm
have it installed and callerid works on ios 8, just to know... thank you pangu
Sympathy - October 22, 2014 at 8:47pm
I dont trust this. Especially when i have 5 of my credit/debit cards stored into my iPhone 6 Plus, i wouldnt bother jailbreaking unless its from very reputable team. Pengu is still shady and too young to trust. And they are chinese with no public identification.
bb - October 22, 2014 at 10:47pm
Nobody is telling you to trust them go f**yourself with your iphone 6 plus.
Jacob - October 23, 2014 at 3:11am
Apple fans are the most uninformed group of users. Your god Apple and Tim Cook, said that the jailbreak would not compromise any security data stored on your alter(iPhone). Like the previous commenter said, go fuckk yourself.
venicej - October 22, 2014 at 8:04pm
how much do you trust your jailbreak team?
Gppas - October 22, 2014 at 7:54pm
Thanks a lot pangu team !! Can you do something for ATV3 too?? Thanks
therobnfw - October 22, 2014 at 8:14pm
iHaveabrain - October 22, 2014 at 6:45pm
Pangu appreciates all the mindless retards that are going to use this jailbreak. First if your not a developer this is useless to you. Secondly these fools obviously don't have a strategy other than lets release first. The people that are going to download this are the same people that stand in a line for days for a phone and don't have a good reason to. Call me what you want but your the idiot. I am a iPhone fan and I'm sending this from my iPhone 6 plus. I'm just saying recognize that one this is useless at the time. Secondly these fools are ruining your ability to actually get a jailbreak once ALL the bugs are removed from ios 8.
odedo1 - October 22, 2014 at 8:34pm
So true why not wait for iOS 8.3 I have no idea, it's just plain stupid this race.
really? - October 22, 2014 at 9:21pm
Your kidding right? ios 8.3 wont be out till mid 2015 most likely.
JesusChrist - October 22, 2014 at 11:20pm
I hardly believe you have a partial brain nor common sense. Move on my son and get an already infected android. I'm so sorry if I skipped you when I was passing on common sense and intelligence.

Two words. Swipe Selection.
Me - October 22, 2014 at 6:10pm
I am getting my iphone 6 plus 128gig todaayyyy!! Thank you Pangu!! We appreciate it how can we pay you for this??
Pangu - October 22, 2014 at 7:50pm
No problem. We take money directly out of your bank accounts.
Prostovank - October 22, 2014 at 5:42pm
Hoe about a list of supported devices?
TheManWithTheInronFists - October 22, 2014 at 6:03pm
Do some research first before looking like a fool. Here are the list: Device compatibility According to Pangu’s website, Pangu for iOS 8 – iOS 8.1 is compatible with the following devices: iPod touch 5G iPhone 4s, iPhone 5, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus iPad mini, iPad mini 2, iPad mini 3, iPad, iPad Air, iPad Air 2 (we’re not entirely sure about the iPad compatibility here)
NoGoodNick - October 22, 2014 at 5:38pm
The Pangu jailbreak team has developed a nasty reputation for being less than reputable. They 'lift' other people's jailbreaks, and then apply them at the worst possible time simply in order to make a name for themselves. Take this instance, they issues it now because the iPhone is now selling in China. However, by releasing now, they're almost guaranteeing the JB won't be available once the iPad Air 2 becomes available in China. Waiting several weeks would have helped thousands of people, but they aren't concerned with how many they hurt, just as long as they have their moment in the sun. They should also have contacted Cydia and warned them they had a JB available in order to allow him to develop the features to use it, but again, they don't care whether anyone can use the feature, they just want to notoriety for releasing it. Personally, I'd lock down all JB discussions so these creeps NEVER get access to new techniques. There are responsible practices, and then there's stealing the hard work of others before THEY have a chance to capitalize on it.
ajeeb - October 22, 2014 at 6:32pm
Indeed, Too much talking !!! we say thanks Pango
dude stfu
dude stfu - October 22, 2014 at 9:27pm
Dude no one was going to release for ios 8 they interviewed the evaders team and they basically said don't expect one from them ios has become too boring.. Pangu released it so stop complaining and enjoy it, wont be long till 8.1.1 comes out to stop it... Then people will complain that why are the devs being lazy and not jail breaking ios 8.1.x and so on.
Ada.t - October 22, 2014 at 4:13pm
Jailbreak is still useful. For instance: Since there is still no multi-users log in for iDevices, how can I prevent someone playing some games all day long? Is there any single app lock up function in current iOS 8.1, as simple as passcode protection? No! That is why LockDown Pro is very useful on jailbreak devices. How about notification center or lock screen? Can you put whatever notice there instead of being restricted by Apple? I am sure there are many other cases that would make the iDevices more user friendly.
Sillydrew4737383 - October 22, 2014 at 4:29pm
Here is how you prevent someone from playing games all day. Fire them. You can see what apps are using up battery power and that would let you know what they have been doing with their phone. Either way suit yourself. Doesn't seems like a good idea to me. And I've used jailbreaks from the beginning.
assface123 - October 22, 2014 at 5:35pm
Dude, you're an assface124. Really. Love the Jailbreak. Need the Jailbreak. Want the Jailbreak. Breathe the Jailbreak. Fuckoff you pigfuckers.
Crrafty - October 23, 2014 at 1:34pm
Fire them? I doubt someone is jailbreaking iPhones for their employees.
afc2xxx - October 22, 2014 at 3:58pm
they have mentioned the jb as developer only :(

Pangu Jailbreak is Malware. 'nuf said.
Intrusive - October 22, 2014 at 3:44pm
I wouldn't even consider an ios update without jailbreak, I'm sure many others feel the same. If Apple wants people to adopt their latest version they should be very happy this jb came out! Ios would be worthless without jb, just leave it Apple jb is a huge benifit to you. Now if only they could find some way to force a horrible U2 album onto my device without my permission or consent.....
Sillydrew4737383 - October 22, 2014 at 3:34pm
This is just my opinion but with apple pay now on my iPhone i won't be using a jailbreak. I don't trust this source and you use it at your own risk.
odedo1 - October 22, 2014 at 8:45pm
and I don't trust Apple pay or me with Apple pay too easy to spend money without thinking,no thanks I'll keep my credit cards in my pocket and use them only when I got to!
iHaveabrain - October 23, 2014 at 3:05am
Yes but what happens when someone steals that card info from a local or online store then gets all the money you have in your account. Now you can get that back in 10 days but in the meantime you are broke and hopefully have a credit card you can make purchases of food or gas. I'm good I will use Apple pay and not be retarded buying things I know I don't need. If someone wants my info the will need to have a gun to my head or kill me and use my finger to purchase what they want.
odedo1 - October 24, 2014 at 2:17pm
So till now you never ever used a credit card! Apple saved you, wow!!!!
lepaka - October 22, 2014 at 3:00pm
you can always choose, thats the wonder of the life, or you drive a GM or Mercedes, in-between there is also a lot of choices, all of them are possible to drive and will bring you to your wished destination, the how wonder of it, is always the criteria of the ones who cares
Mooncutter - October 22, 2014 at 2:54pm
Cool. I knew Pangu was coming. I love how they don't troll the JB community for months. Pangu just drop the JB out of nowhere. Now if they could work a little closer with Saurik on timing. Apple may throw a update out before cydia and substrate even get up to par.
odedo1 - October 22, 2014 at 8:48pm
Stupid, there is so much I could tell you right now but i don't think you would understand.
Mooncutter - October 22, 2014 at 10:34pm
Your face is stupid. Always some holes trying to take shots at people. Go drown in a public toilet.
Jewish Man
Jewish Man - October 22, 2014 at 2:30pm
Price in total to get it to market is $200. So Apple pockets $500. And don't give me excuses it's only $200. To manufacture and promotion is in that price also but as long as u fan boys buy Apple will keep high prices
lepaka - October 22, 2014 at 2:57pm
that is the production + logistic price, have you think about how much is spend for development? how may Headcount Engineers have Apple to bring it to the street? you have an idea how much time/money costs to do Prototypes and test them? and the failures, the ones that are never implemented or just changed because the try-outs failed? it is thousands of millions barred there in the silicone valley. without that you where never able to see the light of a good product ... or try to let it on the hands of the cheaper labour like China and India, then you can buy a lovely Huawei or a Sameshit
Jewish Man
Jewish Man - October 22, 2014 at 2:27pm
Reality prices should be about $350. Not $750
Jewish Man
Jewish Man - October 22, 2014 at 2:23pm
My God are we all insane ... Why do we put down $750 plus tax for an iPhone ? Are we so brain washed from the hype???
Mooncutter - October 22, 2014 at 2:39pm
Lol. I never pay that much so
Reality Check
Reality Check - October 22, 2014 at 2:48pm
Yes, you do. Maybe not all at once, but you do.
Mooncutter - October 22, 2014 at 4:56pm
I know what I said. So I'll say it again. I never pay that much. Period.
Jimboslim - October 22, 2014 at 10:07pm
The flip phones are going cheap. The plans starts at 50 dollars a month with a 30 days insurance with a two year plan and a 30 dollar activation fee. Making you investment in a 2 dollar phone to a whopping 1250 dollars. If you lose the phone it's 150 to get a new one. The resell couldn't give it away if you wanted to.

What's the point of doing this jailbreak if you can't use Cydia. Does anyone know what things you could do when you do this jailbreak because Cydia is main source where every tweak or hacks come from. ??? What can you do with this jailbreak without Cydia?
umm - October 22, 2014 at 2:30pm
The Jailbreak developers need to update their packages so you can use them. Most end users need to wait for Cydia and pretty much every. single. other tweak to be updated by the respective developers. This is the first part that is essential to getting tweaks in your hands. Years ago, Saurik would work "next to" the jailbreak team to ensure compatibility upon release. This was before everyone started monetizing the jailbreak, though.

I don't jb my iphone since the 5th (I had 5s and now 6). Don't know what's new in jb and how is still useful... but definitely not going to jb while having iCloud keychain, apple pay and so many things activated... you can trust no one this days
Me - October 22, 2014 at 2:18pm
Can we jailbreak the iphone 6?
SimonSays - October 22, 2014 at 1:21pm
Wow! That didn't take long at all. But jailbreaks these days are getting more and more useless. Most of the tweaks I used to use are now baked into iOS anyway. But good work none the less.

Seems shocking to me that people spend a crapload of money on an expensive piece of technology, then load it with software that does who knows what made by some dudes in China. Good luck to you all, but me, I'm relying on Apple for security and efficiency.
china dude
china dude - October 22, 2014 at 2:07pm
you know the iPhone device you are using is made by bunch of these china dude you referring to right? in fact also made by some china dudette. lol
Grumpy Old Man
Grumpy Old Man - October 22, 2014 at 2:35pm
There is no "lol" here, China Dude. Of course I know those things, but I also know that the firmware is made by Apple under controlled circumstances, and the apps on the App Store are also routinely screened for malware and so forth. So that's not the same as downloading a jailbreak from anonymous hackers and loading up on apps from Cydia. Surely you see the difference.
