Everyone who wants a jailbreak, update your devices to iOS 8.1 now while you can. 8.1.1 patches the current Pangu exploit.
It's unclear if the PanguTeam has another exploit which can be used for iOS 8.1.1 so we strongly recommend that you update to iOS 8.1 and jailbreak while you still can.

i would rather wait for more updates before upgrading to ios 8. Let all jailbreak work done first!

I have iPhone 5 with 7.1.2 jailborken. Due to many cydia tweaks not support ios 8, should I upgrade to ios 8.1?

It is very inconvenient but find a window somehow if you want the jailbreak bad enough. I had to find a way for myself. Best of luck!!!

If you have a Mac with an Intel processor, then you can get a copy of Windows (full version, not upgrade) and use the Boot Camp utility to install it. Then you've got the best of both worlds.

Seems the current Pangu 8.x jailbreak was rushed to release. Maybe they've learned to be more patient and to communicate with other devs prior to release?

Seems by the time the jailbreak is actually ready, it will have already been patched by Apple making it mostly use less.

We have no way of knowing that the exploit would have been patched since pangu made it easy for apple to see by releasing the jailbreak.

This reminds of the early 3GS when it's, "Cat and Mouse" with Jailbreaking and Patching. love it!!!

Personally I don't give a s%#¥. This is no surprise. Nothing ever ends well when your impatient. Apple was bound to fix some bugs after releasing ios 8.1. They release that because of apple pay not because it was perfect. No thanks pangu or whatever your name is. I will wait for a jailbreak I can trust.

Call me paranoid but I'm not sure about Pangu. I'll wait for the evad3rs to release something. Always have had good luck with their product.

It's considered a product when there is profit and being sold. It's a GIFT slick!!

OMG YEEEESSSSS... I'd love to wait a year for a JB and stay in the old iOS... I still say the JB will work fine on 8.1.1

I hope they don't release another one yet and save the exploit for the inevitable 8.2 release
