This tutorial was written using Mail 3. What fields are you missing? I'll check to see if it needs to be updated.

Mail 3.x doesn't seem to allow you to specify different ports for outgoing vs. incoming. Some of the settings fields from Mail 2.x are no longer there.

Hi, The tutorial is written using Mac OS X Leopard. That is most likely why you are not seeing the same options. If you are still using Tiger you can input the settings manually. If you are having problems inputing the settings manually please send off an email to support@iClarified.com describing the exact problem and I'll try to help!

I just tried your "How to access Gmail through Apple Mail" and it appears to have no bearing to the current Apple Mail 2.1.1.
There is no "automatically set up account" choice and the look of the top banner is white with stripes and not the blue/grey like iTunes. SInce your post is dated "Monday, 1st October 2007, 11:10 pm", how can that be?
