The Google Wallet app has been updated with support for Touch ID, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, offline access to loyalty cards, and more.

Google Wallet is an easier way to pay in stores, pay your friends, or pay online.

Features:
* Google Wallet is backed by 24/7 fraud monitoring and the Google Wallet Fraud Protection Guarantee, which covers 100% of any transactions made without your authorization.

Great, now you can use touch ID for a pay alternative that no one uses and no one accepts, as opposed to using Apple Pay, which is already more widely used than anything else, and is slowly catching on with more businesses. Though, to be honest, I've had some problems with ApplePay. Like it stopping working with no explanation and no warning with no way to 'fix' the problem and no suggestions. It still needs a LOT of work.

Google Wallet actually works in more places then Apple Pay. Apple pay was a direct Rip of Google Wallet. Anywhere you can use Apple Pay (that uses an NFC terminal) you can use Google Wallet. On Android phones you can use multiple pay apps and system like Google Wallet, Softcard (ISIS) and a few others however on Apple devices you are locked down to use Apple Pay for mobile payments currently.
