Pebble has turned to Kickstarter once again to raise money for its new 'Pebble Time' smartwatch that features a color e-paper smartwatch, 7 days of battery life, and a new timeline interface.
Pebble Time is 20% thinner than the original Pebble at just 9.5mm. It has an ergonomic, curved design that fits comfortably on either wrist and slides easily under dress shirts. The lens is crafted from scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass with a bezel made of stainless steel. Like Pebble's previous watches, it's water resistant.
A soft silicone band is included with each Pebble Time, but all standard 22mm watch bands will fit the watch. There's also new Pebble watch bands that include a quick-release pin, letting you swap bands in under 10 seconds.

This looks like a great watch and with backward compatibility with older apps/watch faces, they'll be hitting the floor running. I've owned/own both other Pebbles and they've been great and have just improved with virtually every software update. I look forward to getting my Pebble Time but will be keeping a very close eye on the Apple Watch ;-)

The secret is battery time. I don´t understand why company like apple, samsung and others releases complex watches then the battery technology is not mature for it.
The most important thing is time and battery life then comes the simplicity and capture the most important thing needed for a smartwatch. Pepple is the only one that has done it so far.
7 days battery vs iwatch 1-2 days
Which one would you buy?

They raised half a million dollars in 30 minutes! They are now at $6M. That is a huge success despite the critics.

The Apple Watch is super bulky, but it does all the things I want it to do. I would never buy something like this.

I bought the black matte version and was disappointed. The wrist band felt flimsy and the quality wasn't what I expected. It was a waste of money for me.
