Quake Live is now available for Mac OS X and Linux as promised this past week at QuakeCon.
QUAKE LIVE is now available for Mac OS X and Linux. We did just have an issue come up with the very latest version of Firefox on Mac (which came out after we finished the build), so this update is Safari only, but we've pushed a ticket with the folks at Mozilla and hope to have the Firefox build fixed very shortly.
Quake Live is a FPS (First Person Shooter) browser plugin-based video game by id Software that first launched in 2007. The gameplay consists of players attempting to "frag" more of their opponents than any other player or team in a given match.

It definitely does NOT work on my Mac. I am running Tiger with the new Safari and the min I have to download the plug in or whatever, it crashes. Hmmm think it needs some fixing maybe.
