President Obama has joined Twitter and his first tweet was sent from an iPhone.

Obama tweeted, "Hello, Twitter! It's Barack. Really! Six years in, they're finally giving me my own account."

The @POTUS Twitter account will serve as a new way for President Obama to engage directly with the American people, with tweets coming exclusively from him, according to Whitehouse.gov.

President Obama is committed to making his Administration the most open and participatory in history, and @POTUS will give Americans a new venue to engage on the issues that matter most to them.

I bet he has considered whether to do it or not all these years that begged his question: will I be criticized for all the changes I have done? I bet it was him with all wrong school restrictions. Can't have dominos pizza for lunch because the school wants our money for their shitty pizza that was once ok until (this numbskull possibly) ruined it, Internet sites couldn't be any more inaccessible, and headphones couldn't be any more off in the hallways for no reason. Jesus Christ, what's next? Is he going to restrict anyone talking to other students for the entire campus, restrict dress code to uniforms for every school, or even limit the time we use to roam the halls, sip fountains, or use restrooms. It's been getting worse since it all began in q3 2014!!!
