Taylor Swift Announces She Will Let Apple Music Stream 1989

Taylor Swift has announced that she will let Apple Music stream her 1989 album.

Swift had decided to hold back the album from Apple's upcoming music service and spoke out against the company's decision to ask labels and artists to foot the bill for its free three month trial. Shortly after her open letter to the company, Apple reversed its policy and announced it would pay artists during the trial period.

A report from this morning said that Apple plans to pay 0.2 cents for each song streamed during the trial period.

After the events of this week, I've decided to put 1989 on Apple Music...and happily so.

In case you're wondering if this is some exclusive deal like you've seen Apple do with other artists, it's not.

This is simply the first time it's felt right in my gut to stream my album. Thank you, Apple, for your change of heart.

Ok I'm going to give you guys a senario here and I want to to read it with an open mind set. So I'm opening up a restaurant. Similar to how apple is creating their music streaming services. I have a vendor that will ship me fresh daily food everyday. Just like how Apple has these artistes who supply them with music. So... If I was having a big one week promotion where all my food is free in the restaurant, do you think my vendor would be ok with giving me free food for a week? You know sorta like how Apple is giving music for free and not paying the vendor for 3 months. You think the food vendor would be cool with that? Honestly anyone had this issue before? If there is a vendor that gives food away for free to new grand opening restaurants let me know!!!!

I dont think these downers dont give a damn about logical reasons. All they know is Taylor is against their beloved iPhone make aka Apple and just trash talk about Taylor until it makes them feel comfortable again.

I am very concerned about a lot of people who write in forums like this. They really don't are capable of thinking or are sociopaths..... Taylor Swift acted like a honest, caring and responsible person by giving her opinion in a very smart way.... All she said is true and the results are there. Not eve a hour after she spoke her mind. She was not speaking to defend her money like many said. She was making a point in defence of other artists who are struggling to make it. Apple Leadership had to change their ways because of a very watertight case presented by Taylor.... And she did it with the truth and respect for everybody. Not like the rambling, hateful and disrespectful persons on this site. My respects for a lady who shows talent and a way of thinking which is something not often seen in youngsters in her industry.

Sorry bobby. If you follow this site for long enough, decent amount of people here tends to show their fanboism ego by disrespecting any organization or personnel. And from what i seen from their comments, they have no intention to bring logical argument. Hence, all they do is discussing how crappy Taylor's music is instead of learning what Taylor wanted to showcase behalf of music artists. Dont waste your time trying to make these dorks understand what's actually going on. All they care is Taylor is an enemy to Apple and shes a trash artist now.
