Whilst I'm looking forward to the Apple TV, gaming isn't something I want, I have consoles designed solely for gaming I think Apple should keep a TV box as a TV box with an App Store for the TV streaming they don't include like Amazon instant, air play can take care of the rest (:

What they'll probably do is have all your games in iCloud, not on the actual device. All the games would be streamed, while apps would be on the device.

Playing iPhone games on TV. Seems like old idea since AirPlay.

For gaming, 8/16 gb is not enough

Supports external hdd so you can have 10TB single drive.

I agree. It 8/16Gb storage won't be enough. Also the A8 processor (designed for mobile) might not be enough to support the graphics processing of a bigger screen. iPhones and iPod touches can already be the best remotes for it. I doubt about external drive support as it will only slow it down just like games on android that are on the SD.

6 plus has a bigger screen with more processing power, but to display something so big? If you think about that, the TV just displays what's going on in the apple TV. If size were to slow it down, the processor would be running on a TV instead of the box. Think about how the cables work. Yellow displays what's plugged in on the screen, white connects the sound to it, and the red is to configure the actions (I guess) to it.

iPhones are still running in inbuilt Flash memory so no one know how they handle SD/USB 2-3 functionality in-terms of gaming. And moreover Apple proved Console-Level graphics in A8 using Metal API but still very very less games uses Metal thats what the problem is. So people were expected some nVidia/AMD GPUs in Apple TV that will boost Console game developers to develop for Apple TV. Now they wanting us to play the same iPhone games in TV instead using Airplay.
