Apple Cuts iPod Prices Prior to Announcement

Apple is cutting the prices of current iPods in advance of their music media event today at 10 am PDT.

iPod nano:
- 8GB is now $129 ($20 cut)
- 16GB is now $149 ($50 cut)


iPod classic:
- 120GB is now $229 ($20 cut)

iPod touch:
- 8GB is now $189 ($40 cut)
- 16GB is now $249 ($50 cut)
- 32GB is now $279 ($120 cut)

It is widely expected that Apple will update its entire iPod lineup at the event today. We will be blogging the announcement live at 10 am PDT.
