Apple Approves Rhapsody App for iPhone

Posted September 10, 2009 at 8:38am by iClarified
Apple has approved the Rhapsody music application for iPhone and iPod touch. The new app lets you tap into the entire Rhapsody catalog, listen to any song instantly, tune into Rhapsody Radio, check out the newest releases, and access your library and playlists on the go.

A Rhapsody To Go subscription and an active Internet connection are required to use this application. A one week free trial is included with the application and there is no need to provide credit card information. Once the trial is up you will need to pay $14.99 per month to continue service.

Rhapsody provides access to around 8 million tracks and fully integrates with Rhapsody Software and Rhapsody.com. It works over Wi-Fi and 3G.

You can download the application for free from the App Store.

Looks neat, but will it play in the background without jailbreak/backgrounder installed. Probably not :-(
