Apple has announced that Apple Pay is coming to Starbucks, KFC, and Chili's.
Apple Pay head Jennifer Bailey made the announcement Thursday at the Code/Mobile conference at The Ritz-Carlton in Half Moon Bay, California.
Starbucks is set to launch a pilot program in select stores this year and will roll out the feature through 2016. KFC and Chili's are also set to bring support for Apple Pay in 2016.
“[KFC] has a special place in my heart — it was my first job ever,” Bailey said. “We’re seeing a lot of support for quick-service restaurants with a need for fast payment.”

What the heck is a "quick-service restaurant?" I believe she meant fast food. Is fast food now a bad thing to say?
