
Google, Microsoft, Facebook, and Others File Amicus Briefs in Support of Apple

Over thirty companies have now filed Amicus Briefs supporting Apple's opposition to an order that would force it to build a backdoor into the iPhone.
Notably, the technology companies are split into two consortiums. One includes: Airbnb, Atlassian, Automattic, CloudFlare, eBay, GitHub, Kickstarter, LinkedIn, Mapbox, Medium, Meetup, Reddit, Square, Squarespace, Twilio, Twitter and Wickr. The other consists of: Amazon, Cisco, Dropbox, Evernote, Facebook, Google, Microsoft, Mozilla, Nest, Pinterest, Slack, Snapchat, WhatsApp, and Yahoo.
