Apple Starts Hiring for First Retail Store in Brooklyn

Apple has started hiring for what will be its first retail store in Brooklyn. The company now lists numerous retail store job postings on its site for Creatives, Experts, Geniuses, Specialists, Business Leaders, and management, reports MacRumors. Additionally, recent LinkedIn postings seek a Retail Manager and Senior Manager specifically in Brooklyn.

At the end of 2014, Apple signed a lease to open a store in Williamsburg, a neighborhood in Brooklyn, New York.


The long-term lease was for a 20,000 square foot store at 247 Bedford Ave at the corner of North 3rd Street. The landlords are Red Sky Capital and Waterbridge. Construction has been ongoing since last year but now it appears as though Apple is getting closer to launch.
