Boxcar for iPhone Goes Free With In-App Purchases

In response to Apple's announcement that free iPhone apps can use In-App purchases, Boxcar has changed their pricing model.

Boxcar is an application which provides Facebook, Twitter, and Email push notifications. Previously pricing was set at $2.99 with the choice of one push service and $.99 for any additional service.

The pricing model has now changed with the Boxcar app (including one service) being offered free. Additional services will cost $1.99 each.


We should see more shifts in pricing models over the next few days as developers try out some new options now available.
