Hacker Luca Todesco, also known as qwertyoruiop, has posted a photo of a jailbroken iPhone 7 running Cydia.

The hacker also recently posted a video demonstrating the jailbreak of iOS 10 with a working mobile substrate.
While we aren't expecting Todesco to release a public jailbreak, the good news is that it's definitely possible to jailbreak Apple's new smartphone. Hopefully, we'll see a release from Pangu or another team in the near future.

There's a couple thing I'd like apple to take from android ... 1... the ability to have the option to use google voice or Thur regular number to call or text .. apple u have to DL and app ...2 ....file downloads apart from that SAMSUNG SUCKS .....!
Only ever jailbroken an iPhone once, way back on my iPhone 4. Freaked me out - didn't see any useful benefits and reset it back. Haven't had the need to go back to the dark side. Anybody care to share what the major benefits are lately on Cydia?

1) attach any type of archived/zip files to email directly on iPhones 2) download linked files off of Safari directly (like android/a normal computer) 3) Customize UI experience for better user experience 4) free tethering!! 5) Activator Actions like auto play when connecting to vehicle BT ......... Those are just 5 reasons to jb. Can't do any of the above without jailbreak. Notice that not all jailbreak users hack for free AppStore paid apps......I jb for tweaks that should be already installed stock. Btw a lot of new features Apple puts out is based on Jailbroken ideas and tweaks FYI
Barrel for messing with the spring board swiping, Zeppelin for replacing my Carrier name with logos and pictures, that's the fun parts, ifile for accessing files, call recorder for recording calls, bio protect for requiring my finger print to open apps/folders and to turn off wifi or turn on airplane mode, and even turning off my device so no one can turn my device off, useful for find my iPhone ( not many people carry a sim remover tool around ) and I also use icaughtu which takes a photo and emails me Gps details if the wrong code is entered and pops up a nice little messaging asking to phone my home phone number to return my phone. There are loads more fun and really useful tweaks out there, these are the ones I use
Besides the fun stuff, the one or two I can't live without them tweaks are: 1. Action Menu, allows to copy and paste templates from history, etc 2. CallBar, allows dismissal and use phone phone whilst on or ignoring an incoming phone call.
Free hotspot sharing of cellphone data without carrier knowing. (great for unlimited data peeps)
Customization of the Flip up Control Center. Buttons also actually open that setting location, great! Have 6 across like should look on Plus model.
Ability to have 5 icons across on bottom docks and icons, also makes the screen look correct on the Plus model.
Ability to Save files to local phone, and see internal file structure of device
Barrel and Zeppelin, to make the phone more unique without spam junk in your phone.
TetherMe, FlipContolCenter, Barrel, Zeppelin - Other than this I don't see a reason to jailbreak anymore..
There are still many missing features. File system access for one and there is a Cydia tweak called "action menu" that has a "favourites" menu item that if kill to have on any phone. Also, I like to put Kodi on my phone.
I'm an apple fan/product owner and always will be. I'm not a big fan of android because of its many security flaws and bugs that will never be fixed and because many product owners will never get future security or OS updates. But I do have to say that some features and visual aspects of android are pretty cool. Mostly from the vanilla version that comes on Google branded phones.
