Apple TV Universal Search Expands to Support the CW, Five Additional Countries

Apple has expanded its Universal Search function on the Apple TV.

In the United States, Universal Search now supports the new CW app which offers subscription-free streaming of recent episodes.


Apple has also brought Universal Search to Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, and Sweden for the first time starting with Netflix and iTunes Movies.

Finally, Australia gets universal search supportfor ABC iview and Plus7.
